I just got into the last Wintergrasp battle after it had started. Since I didn't have time to change out of my tanking spec, I figured I'd try it out and holy cow...

I did a whole lot better, both at surviving and kicking some serious ass than I do in my healing spec even with no pvp gear. I am still in shock at how many people i killed before they took me down and how many it took to kill me. I might actually grow to like this pvp tanking stuff.
I did indeed start a new protection paladin on the pvp realm just to test out the waters but have not contacted my guild there just yet in case it doesn't work out for me. We shall see how that goes.
